Here you can add a complete new food that has not been added by us, although our list is comprehensive and very large. Also, you can add custom foods that you makeup, or entire dishes that you can make up. In the food diary, you can add an entirely new custom food. Click on the menu option foods, and select add new food. The first thing you should do, is entered the food name. You can enter an entire recipe that you may like to prepare often, or just a specific food item that we did not include. Once you’ve entered a new food name, enter the entire calories for the dish. Then enter the number of servings which make up this, calorie make up and the measure. For instance, if the recipe is of 100 g, then enter the nutritional values, 100 serving, of 1 g measure. So this means that 100 g have the nutritional values you have entered. The food diary from now on will list your food in the general listing under custom food group. Once you select the food in the food explorer, you can select create new measures for the food. For example, one cup equals 25 g of the food. The software than automatically populates the calories. In this way the food diary lets you add new foods.
