Food Diary Overview

In the screen of the food diary you can see a quick view of all of your monthly caloric intake, exercise, and weight. It is easy to get a general feeling of your efforts toward losing weight. In order to see the details of each, day double click on that day. In order to see a weekly view, click on the week view button at the bottom.

This food diary screen is just quick view, it is not a detailed report or summary report which are shown later. Once you double-click on a day, you get to the food summary screen. Below is a picture of the food diary screen:

In this food diary screen you have several tabs. The first tab at the top is the bodily measures. So you can record your daily weight, bodily percentage fat, chest, waist, hips, and thighs measurements. You can also click on the button called yesterday's bodily measurements to copy yesterday's values and to manually make small adjustments.

In this food a diary screen, you have other tabs which are very helpful. The main tab is called the food consumption tab. In this tab you see a quick summary of each meal of the day. And also the food diary shows you the caloric, fat, protein, carbohydrates and sodium with the dietary fiber for each meal and for the entire day.

On the bottom tab you see the food consumption budgets. Where you can set your daily caloric intake and see how much you have eaten for the day, and how much you can still eat for the day.

There is also the exercise expenditure plan. This will diary, in this exercise expenditure plan, lets you see how many calories you have expanded during exercise for this week, and how much you still have to exercise. This will allow you not to over exercise and to under exercise.

Also the food diary allows you to see an exercise tab. Where you can log your exercise and caloric expenditure during the exercise. Additionally, the food diary, allows you to see a medical tab where you can keep track of your insulin, heart rate and other medical journal.

In the top right corner of the food diary, you see a small pie chart that shows you the relative proteins fats and carbohydrates for the entire day.

In order to see complete nutritional breakdown of the entire day click on the pro-values button at the bottom. Then you will be shown a complete 140 nutritional value breakdown. The food diary in this nutritional breakdown shows you a complete makeup such as water, zinc, cholesterol, sugars, etc..

To add a meal to this food diary, click on the add meal button.

The food diary's food explorer allows you to add and manage a meal. At the top left, you see the food groups such as baby foods, baked products, beef products etc.. So first, select the food group, then at the lower left the specific food items are listed.

Select food items such as bagels, egg. Then on the rind, set the measure such as one bagel. Then enter the number of servings you ate, such as 1. meaning you had eaten 1 serving of one egg bagel.

Then click on the add food about an item. That's it. The food has been added to your meal. In this way add each food item for your meal.

In the food explorer, you can also see a sorted alphabetical list,

On the top right, you see a complete nutritional breakdown of the entire meal with a pie chart.

In this food diary screen you can keep your medical records. This includes values of your heart rate, insulin levels, insulin dosages and general comments tab that you can keep of your health. For instance, you can keep a blood pressure log.
