Food Diary's Nutritional Reports And Quick ViewsThe Food Diary allows you to see the caloric and nutritional information regarding each food, the same day you eat it, or about to eat it. As a result you suddenly discover that some of the food you eat in large quantities daily that you devour easily, are actually incredibly high in fat, or sugar or salt. It is true. You can have a perfectly wonderful diet plan that gets screwed up by one food that seems to make its way into your diet. The awareness of how many calories and fat there is in food is the power of why the food diary will allow you to win the weight loss battle. For instance, pull up McDonalds Chicken McNuggets in the Diet Software food explorer:
Instantly, you see the large number for the calories. Plus the huge number for the fat, carbs and protein. This combination is for a heart attack. Click on show all values button to see the full nutritional makeup of the McNuggets: This is the report for McDonald's Chicken McNuggets 7 ounces. This quantity of McNuggets is consumed in 5 minutes without notice. Yet it has over 490 calories of which 28g of fat, and 30g of carbs. Look at the pie chart at the bottom right. It is amazing. You can eat these 7 McNuggets and lose a whole hour of exercising in the gym in 5 minutes. The Diet Software gives insight into your actual diet that is crucial to understand about what you actually eat vs. how hard it is to exercise these off in the gym. Also, when you tally up all your nutritional intake for the day, you get a sense of how much you actually eat. This you cannot do without the food diary-- easily anyway. And when you look at the food nutritional totals for the week, you can learn when you failed in your diet and when you succeed. All these number that the Diet Software gives us is very important for understanding why you lose weight, and why not. You can compare each day of the week. For instance, in the above example you can see that on Thursday and Monday there was a really high consumption of fats, 98g and 88g, 91g on Sunday. The rest of the week was better. You do not have to use the Diet Software to restrict your caloric intake. You can use our software as a tool to learn about your actual diet and what diet actually is suppose to be. Then you can look at the daily averages, and see that on the average you ate 76g of fat this week per day. This is not too bad compared to the overall picture.
