Graphs - Food Diary

Dear Friend,

From Food Diary’s main Calendar screen, click on the Graphs button.  For the graph screen to display you will need to have at least two days selected.  Selecting dates on the calendars is the same with other Food Diary screens.  The Red box shows the current day and the yellow highlight is for the selected day.

This screen gives you many options to graph.  This flexibility allows you to customize the graph display for what you want to see and analyze.  Checking and un-checking the options is how you customize the displayed figures.

Food Diary

The Food Diary Daily Graph will display your diet information in 3D graph format.  You can see at a glace what the trends your numbers show.  The Legend to the right will help you find the numbers and their associated categories.

You will notice that you have button options across the top of the screen.

Those options are:

  • Normal – This will take you back to normal view of the graph if you have changed it.

  • Rotate – You can click on and drag the graph with the mouse to rotate the graph.

  • Move – This lets you move the graph to a different position.

  • Zoom – This will let you zoom in closer or out depending on the direction you drag the mouse.  You might think of this as re-sizing.

  • Depth – You can drag to shrink or broaden the depth of the chart.

  • 3D – Lets you toggle between 3D and 2D.

  • Edit – You can edit several aspects of the graph design.

  • Print – You can print the graph using your Windows default printer definition.

  • Copy – Copy the graph to the clipboard so you can insert it into another program.

  • Save – This option lets you save the graph to a file to be imported into another program.

The Close button will take you back to the previous screen from both dialogs.
