Diet Software The Food & Exercise Diary For Windows - Tutorial
Custom Foods
Custom food
feature, found under the menu foods/add new foods, allows to enter
new foods into the database as if they were predefined foods.
A custom food can be just a certain food there is not in the database
such as a certain energy drink, or it can being an entire recipe that
you prepare often.
Basically you are going to tell the program the nutritional values
for the new food for a given weight. Then, the Weight Loss Software program computes how much nutritional value there
is in one gram of the custom food. Then, the food is entered into
the predefined food listing and is selected as any other food.
For instance:
In the above add new custom food, the name of the food is Melanies
3 Egg and Feta Cheese Omelette.
Then we entered the number of calories, grams of fat, protein, carbohydrates,
and sodium contained in one cup of the omelette.
From this point on, there is a new food defined listed as Melanies
3 Egg and Feta Cheese Omelette that can be selected from the food
explorer, or alphabetical listing.
For most accurate measure, use a measure of grams, and not 1 cup.
The definition of Melanies eggs includes the nutritional value
for three egg and feta cheese. This description is actually a meal,
entered as a single food. In this way you can enter any number of
custom foods that you usually use, making for a very rapid food entry
in the future.
